I am personally pretty damn relieved to be releasing this album and I know I'm not the only one. Stella Australis is the debut album from New Orleans-bred Endian. After sitting on the bench since the Summer of '05, this record is going to be made available on June 27th, 2010. Shortly before the end of August, 2005 it was given to me and a handful of other folks in New Orleans. The last Endian live rehearsal took place on August 27th, 2005. Later that night, most of us had evacuated New Orleans because of Hurricane Katrina. This album was in our cd players and our thoughts for that journey and amongst dealing everything else we were faced with for the months that followed, it was forgotten, or left in a pile of a million other things that had to be reckoned with.

Finally, after 5 years, this album is being rediscovered and after all this time it's being released by our label. It's a bit of closure for all of us who have lived with these songs and that experience for so long. It's the project and passion of Alfredo Nogueria, a New Orleans native now living in Chicago. This album has it's own soul and script, one that is very personal to Alfredo, but due to the circumstances, it's got a life of it's own now. Hope you find a nice place to keep it. We're happy to hear some of the new songs that Endian been recording, hopefully he'll be getting those out there soon(er).
